About 2 months ago Jeri & I took a visit to the Capital Area Humane Society. We had been regular visitors since we started dating as both of us enjoyed playing with and walking the many dogs and puppies housed there while they waited to be adopted. We found "Curiousity" and I decided upon walking her that I wanted to adopt her! Jeri said, but we're going away for the weekend, shouldn't we wait? And I said... Let's put her on hold for 2 days and see how we feel. 2 days later we adopted her! :) We renamed her Kate (to keep the same Kuh sound as the name the humane society had given her). Kate is a mutt 100%!! We've determined that she is 4 or 5 different types of dogs. Mostly we see her as being like a lab. She has the same face, tail and feet: webbed for swimming! We've been taking her to puppy training classes at the humane society which we feel have been super beneficial not just for her but for us too! We're learning a lot & would highly recommend the classes to everyone! We're still working on stay & being completely housebroken, but she's great at sit & laydown. We're also teaching her to roll-over!
