This past week Jeri finally arrived at the beach. He was here for 4 days and 4 nights. While he was here we made these pretty sweet (literally & figuratively) cakes. They are called Raspberry Guauex (or some other complicated name), and this totally counts for one of my gourmet attempts for this summer, though I do have to credit my cousin Derek with the idea.
We've also spent quite a bit of our time playing games, and of course swimming in the ocean. One of our favorite games is Settler's of Catan. If you've never played, but want to, certainly let us know and we will teach you how to play! Also, we like to play with my brother Scott who is living in Thailand, so we play on line.
