Items needed
1) 4 mugs - matching or not
2) oil based paint sharpie - read on a few blogs that a regular sharpie will wash off too easily
3) oven set at 425 degrees (do not preheat)
4) ideas of what to write
5) dry ingredients for mug cakes
6) baggies or mason jar with lid to hold ingredients
7) recipe card with mug cake recipe
8) cookie sheet
Directions are simple!
Write on mugs your desired inscription. Place finished mugs on a cookie sheet and place into cold oven. Set oven for 425. Once oven is preheated, then set timer for 30 minutes. This took about an hour in my oven. After 30 minutes, turn off oven, but leave mugs in oven. Remove once the oven has cooled completely.
That's it!
Mix dry ingredients of mug cake and put into container, write out recipe on cards, and you're done. A yummy and creative gift everyone who loves cake (and who doesn't?) will love.
