Blastocyst Donation

The terminology used "biological parent" really irritates me.  There is nothing that is parenting in providing DNA.  When we donate our blastocysts we do not intend to be the parents, the family who receives that donation will be the parents.

It makes me sad that this girl Gracie thinks she is a leftover, and I hope that feeling is not the same for the blasts we donate. We desperately wanted all of them, but my body is getting too old to be pregnant/carry all of them the way I would want to (one at a time).  I hope our desire to donate to someone we know to keep the relationship between my husband and our egg donor (known) and any children born as open as possible.
