Our Infertility Journal

September 2007-Started dating Jeri; tossed birth control

November 2007-Went to see obgyn because I was not having periods; had FSH test done (it was over 20)

December 2007-Went to see RE on recommendation of obgyn; repeated FSH test (again was over 20); given diagnosis of premature ovarian failure; blood test done to determine reason of POF

January 2008-Went to see a maternal-fetal geneticist; missing a portion of one X chromosome (Turner's Syndrome) which is then also repeated (Triple X)

February 2008-Went to see a geneticist (official diagnosis of Turner's Syndrome); had multiple screenings done to make sure I am healthy; started on hormone replacement thearpy; went to see a new obgyn (Mosaic Turner's Syndrome)

April 2008-Got engaged!

August 2008-Married!!!

September 2008-Obsessed with figuring out what to do

February 2009-Went back to RE to get timeline established

June 2009-Learned a long time family friend also has Turner's Mosaic

August 2009-Went to a new RE; learned I have a Uterine Septum and would need surgery to remove it.

September 2009-Decided against surgery; decided to move forward with Adoption instead (researching!).

September 28-Orientation for Foster to Adopt program.

October - November 2009-Duel foster/adoption classes.

February 2010-Approved as duel foster/adoptive parents; started again looking into egg donation as sister offered to donate eggs.

March 2010 - Testing done to determine sister's egg viability. Became foster parents to Tristin.

April-December 2010 - Break from everything IF related. Started Adoption support group in November.

January 2011 - Came off hold from Foster Care. Started again looking into egg donation.

March 2011 - Became foster parents to Amberleigh.

April 2011 - Asked a long time friend to be our egg donor (she said yes!)

June 2011 - Started fertility medications for IVF.

July 2011 - Retrieval of 7 eggs from donor, all 3 day blasts, transfer of 1 embryo on day 5. 5 embryos frozen.

August 2011 - BFP!!

April 2012 - Birth of our daughter Reece Elizabeth.

October 2013 - Decision to start fostering again in January 2014, with possible FET in July 2014.
