As far as egg donor. ... we were told early on that egg donor was our only option to be pregnant (which obviously with donor embryo isn't true, but that's what our clinic told us). We had asked my cousin if she would be our donor which she was willing to,but found out she was too young for or clinic's standard. We decided to quit the idea and went towards adoption. We looked into those options and decided to try foster care. Within a week of receiving our license we had Tristan. After a month of being parents (and being really sad when he left) we decided we weren't ready to have kids yet. A year later we opened our home again and Amberleigh joined us. We started and continued a great relationship with her and her parents. Mid way through Amberleigh's time with us we looked into doing donor egg again (ready to be parents this time!) We thought about doing double donor with my brother and Jeri's sister as our donors, my sil (Brock's wife) also offered so both sils were tested however neither had great FSH/AMH numbers. We also found out it would be super expensive and take 6+ months to use a sperm donor even though it was my brother because all the FDA requirements still had to be met. So that's when we asked Stacy to be our donor. She said yes and here we are!
